The fine folks of Haven Oakland let one of our private tours come by, and taste their latest+greatest. We sipped on amazing Beet Moscow Mule Cocktails to start. Then we had their amazing Church Point Oysters with yuzu, and serrano pepper mignonette.

Chef Charlie Parker then surprised our group with an off the menu smoked pork crostini. Much thanks to the staff of Haven Oakland, and to General Manager Bobi Adle.

Oakland is garnering national media attention again with articles focusing on our amazing culture, weather and diversity. Oakland is often compared to Brooklyn and some of the comparisons have merit. A few months back a NY Times article, entitled Another City by the Bay Comes Into Its Own, highlighted the growth that the sunny side of the bay has recently experienced and the draw that Oakland has to residents and businesses.
